  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • Place in skillet (I use electric skillet) – spray skillet with Pam.
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/2 cup Karo syrup (white or red)
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
