- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon chopped basil
- salt and pepper
Spice Rub for Chicken

I double this recipe and keep it an airtight jar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons smoked paprika
- 2 Tablespoons mexican chile powder
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 Tablespoon garlic powder granulated
- 1 Tablespoon onion powder granulated
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Peach and Raspberry Almond Yogurt

Line a sieve with cheesecloth or paper towels and suspend it over a bowl
- 4 cups plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup good honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
- 1/2 to 1 cup peach nectar
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 peach, peeled and diced
- 1/2 pint fresh raspberries

Jalapeño spinach

Cook spinach in boiling water
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach
- 3 tbsp onion
- 6 Tbsp butter divided
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup eveporated milk
- 1/4 cup reserved spinach licqued
- 1/4 tsp red pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp worcestershir
- 1/2 brick pepper jack cheese
Zucchini Custard Bake

- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 2 pounds zucchini, cut into small pieces
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup undiluted evaporated milk or light cream
- 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

Angel Hair pasta with Tomatoes and Basil

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 2 tablespoons of salt and a splash of oil to the pot
- Kosher salt
- 1/2 cup good olive oil, plus extra for the pot
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (6 cloves)
- 2 pints small cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes sliced in half lengthwise
- 18 large basil leaves, julienned
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 3/4 pound dried angel hair pasta
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Extra chopped basil and grated Parmesan, for serving
