Braised Brussel Sprouts with Lemon and Thyme

1. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter $
- 1 pound medium Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 large shallots, thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 6 tablespoons unsalted chicken stock, divided
- 2 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme

Slowcooker: Add paprika, salt, pepper, sour cream and broth to slow cooker and begin to heat
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 lb beef stew meat
- 1 tb vegetable oil
- 2 c sliced white mushrooms
- 1 c sliced carrots
- 1 med onion - diced
- 1 1/2 cups low sodium beef broth
- 1/2 c sour cream
- 2 Tbs flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper

- 1/3 c orange juice
- 4 tsp EVOO
- 1 T Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Homemade Sweet Potato Rolls

Instructions 1.In a glass measuring cup, microwave the milk for 90 seconds, but do not allow to boil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter, unsalted and diced
- 1 teaspoon dry active yeast
- 2 3/4 cup bread flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or 3/4 teaspoon sea salt)
- 1 teaspoon vital wheat gluten (keep away from the salt when dumping in)
- 1 cup sweet potato, baked and mashed (about 1 large sweet potato) with skins removed
- 1 large egg with 1/2 tablespoon egg white removed
- Butter for tops after baking

- 4 medium-large Anjou pears (peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices)
- 5 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups apple juice or pear nectar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 (2-inch) slice of orange peel
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 8 ounces Mascarpone Cheese
- 8 6-inch flour tortillas
- 1/3 cup dried sour cherries
