Steak Teriyaki

This steak will bring a smile to your table
- Ingredients:
- Boneless sirloin steak
- Marinade:
- 2 vine ripe tomatoes – diced
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
The Old Fashioned Burger with Sweet and Spicy Onions

Place the burger on the bread and top with the onions
- For the Beef Burger:
- Fresh Chopped Ground Beef
- Dashes of salt
- Dashes of black pepper
- Dashes of garlic powder
- Favorite bread for the burger
- For the Onions:
- 1 large sweet onion – sliced
- 1/2 jalapeño – chopped with seeds
- Healthy handful of fresh basil - sliced
- Drizzles of ketchup
- Drizzles of honey
- Drizzles of olive oil
- Drizzle of Worcestershire Sauce
- Dashes of salt
- Dashes of black pepper
- Dashes of garlic powder
Lentils with Rice

Heat a heavy saucepot with 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 cup of dried lentils
- 2 tbs. sun dried tomatoes – diced
- 1/2 large onion – diced
- 4 cloves garlic – chopped
- 1/2 cup Italian parsley – chopped
- 1 long hot pepper – chopped
- 1 1/2 cups water plus tsp. of Vegeta powdered chicken stock
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbs. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbs. olive oil - plus more for drizzling
- 1 vine ripe tomato – diced
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
Classic Vanilla-Orange Sugar Cookies

Roasted Garlic & Jalapeño Hummus

- You will need:
- 1- 15 1/2 oz. can Garbanzo Beans (chickpeas)
- 1 Jalapeño
- 1 bulb garlic
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Focaccia with fresh tomato, zucchini & Kalamata olives

Preheat oven to the lowest setting
- Focaccia Dough:
- 1 package active yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 1/2 cups Grano del Miracolo soft wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for greasing bowl and pan
- For Tomato, Zucchini & Kalamata Olive Topping:
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 zucchini, peeled
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 6-8 Kalamata olives, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Coarse sea salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- Olive Oil for drizzling
Spaghetti with Beans

Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil
- 9 oz. can of red beans – drained
- 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 1/2 cup of Italian parsley – chopped
- 2 stalks of celery – chopped
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Grated Parmesan cheese or Romano cheese
- 1 lb. of your favorite spaghetti
Cowboy Soup

Heat a cast iron pot with the olive oil
- 1 jalapeño – chopped with seeds
- 3 cloves garlic – chopped
- 1 red onion – chopped
- 28 oz. can pork and beans with molasses
- 28 oz. can tomato puree
- 3 – 4 cups chicken broth – (depending on how thick to would like this)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup left over steak (or any left over meat or chicken) – sliced thin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 lb. you favorite noodles
Simple French Toast

Combine the above ingredients for the bread wash in a shallow bowl and beat with fork
- Bread Wash:
- Sliced white bread
- Butter
- Powdered sugar
- Syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Muffins with Simple Syrup

- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
