- 1/2 cup milk

1. Combine chicken broth and water in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil
- 4 cups fat-free less sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup instant long-grain rice(such as Minute brand)
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 lime wedges
- Bean sprouts (optional)
- Sliced green onions (optional)
- Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Sliced jalapeno pepper (optional)
Dressing for slaw, salad, etc. Really great

- 16 ounces corkscrew pasta
- 6 tablespoons melted butter, divided
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion

- 1 1/2 cups (6 ounces0 grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 ups (6 ounces) grated Gruyere cheese

- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
- (shells reserved)
- 1 quart lightly salted water (to make shrimp stock)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup shrimps stock (See step 1 below)
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup seeded and chopped Roma tomatoes
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy crem
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro

- 1/4 cup mnced shallots
- 1/4 cup minced celery
- 2 tblespoons instant flour
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half, heated
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup grated sharp white cheddar
- 1/2 cup grated Fontina
- 3/4 pound elbow or tube macaroni, cooked and well drained
- Hot sauce
- Course salt
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan, optional
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs

- 1 1/3 cups myonnaise
- 4 ounces bleu cheese
