Bread, Moist Sweet Cornbread

A real favorite!!! This sweet cornbread recipe is award winning and is full of moist sweet flavor
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
Shrimp, Firecracker

Heat the oil to 400 degrees
- 3/4 gallon canola oil
- 1 10 oz. container mayonnaise, chilled
- 3 tablespoons Vietnamese chili garlic sauce
- 1 1/2 pounds jumbo tiger shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- Four for dredging
- 3 eggs, beaten well
- 8 ounce panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1 package (3 ounces) raspberry-flavored gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water, divided!!
- 1 can (16 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1 package (3 unces) lemon-flavored gelatin
- 1 package (3-ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 can ( 8 1/2 ounces), crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 cup whipping cream

- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon mustard, such as Dijon or wholegrain
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 4 about 4 tablspoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for serving.
- 12 slices good French bread or cuban bread loaf
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
- handful of chopped parsley, stalks discarded
- 6 tomatoes, diced
- salt and pepper
- herb springs, to garnish
Squash Yellow Baked Wonderful Recipe

Cook squash until slightly tender in small amount of water
- 2 lbs yellow squash
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 1 chopped vadalia onion
- 2 grated carrots
- Small package Pepperidge Farm herbed seasoned stuffing mix. I used Stove top (was delicious) entire( box with bread enclosed)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 1 stick butter

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350 to 400 degrees) Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup instant white rice
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese with peppers

- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder
- 2 poblano or bananna peppers

- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pound medium fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound fresh bay scallops
- 1 (8-ounce) container lump crabmeat, picked free of shells
- 10 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted

- 10 cups clam juice
- 2 pounds baking potatoes, like russets peeled, diced
- 4 pounds fresh or frozen clams shelled, diced
- 1/4 pound salt pork diced
- 2 small onions diced
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 2 pints half-and-half
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
