Barbecue-Spice-Rubbed Skirt Steak with Charred Onions and Jalapenos

Combine balsamic vinegar, cider vinegar, corn oil, and ketchup in a bowl
- Spice Rub:
- Serves four
- 2 16-oz skirt steaks
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp corn oil
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp chile powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Spanish smoked paprika (La Chinata is the best)
- 2 tbsp light-brown sugar
- 2 tsp coarse salt
- 1 tsp dried oregano
