Quick Oyster Gumbo

Drain oysters and cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 pint large oysters
- 2 tablespoons melted fat
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 2 cups or 1 package frozen cut okra
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups canned, stewed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 3/4 teaspoon salt

- 4 Tbsp water 2TBsp butter
- 2 cups flower 1 1/2 C Honey
- 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper 1/2tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp garlic powder dash of cayenne pepper

- 3 tbsp (45 mL) cornstarch

- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups usweetened flake coconut

this is av ery thick variation of traditional oyster stew
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 1/2 bunch scallions, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 quart large oysters
- 1 small bell pepper
- 7 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon ground rep pepper (cayenne)
Gluten Free Breakfast Berry Cobbler

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inch pan
- 1 package Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix
- 1 can blueberries (enclosed), drained and rinsed
- 5 cups mixed berries, frozen or fresh
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup gluten free oatmeal
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 13x9x2-inch pan.
- Place drained blueberries and mixed berries into prepared pan. In medium bowl, stir together Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix, oatmeal and almonds. Sprinkle oatmeal mixture over fruit; pour melted butter evenly over the top.
- Bake 55-60 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla yogurt, if desired
