Place the vegetable oil in a 7-quart Dutch oven and set over medium-high heat
- For Pickled Pork:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 medium green bell peppers, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 12 ounces pickled pork, cut into 1-inch pieces, recipe follows
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 quarts water
- 1 pound red kidney beans, rinsed and picked of debris
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard seed
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- 8 ounces ice
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh boneless pork butt, cut into 2-inch cubes
Pork Chops (Slow Cooker)

Coat pork chops in mixture of flour, salt, dry mustard, and garlic powder and brown in oil in skillet
- 6 lean pork chops
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 (10 oz.) can chicken and rice soup
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tbsp. oil
Garden Vegetable Soup

Heat the olive oil in large, heavy-bottomed stockpot over medium-low heat
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup packed chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 1 to 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cups fresh green beans; broken or cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 2 quarts chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 cups peeled seeded; and chopped tomatoes
- 2 ears corn kernels removed
- 2 tablespoons finely minced garlic
- Kosher salt
- 2 cups carrots peeled and chopped into rounds (approximat
- 2 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups chopped leeks; white part only (from approximately 3 medium leeks)
Tortilla Soup

To microwave, heat individual portions of soup for 1 1/2 minutes on HIGH
- 5 cups chicken broth, or beef broth, defatted, divided
- 1 1/2 cups Spanish onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic clove, crushed
- 2 cups zucchini, diced
- 10 ounces frozen corn, defrosted
- 2 cups canned tomatoes, crushed, Italian
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, Wisconsin, grated
- 3 (6 inch) corn tortilla
- nonstick vegetable spray

- 1 cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

- 2 pound cubed beef stew meat
- 4 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed Golden mushroom soup
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- salt, pepper and chopped garlic to taste
- 2 dollups of sour cream
- 2 bullion cube
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
