Fruit Salad with Marshmallows

Drain the pineapple and reserve 2 T juice
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 T sugar
- 2 T white vinegar
- 1 T butter
- 16 oz can pitted sweet cherries
- 2 cans mandarin oranges
- 2 c miniature marshmallows
- 1 c heavy cream
Paula Deen's Basted Ham

Preheat oven to 325 degrees Place ham in a shallow roasting pan
- 18 lb cured ham
- 2-12 oz cans gingerale
- canned pineapple rings
- brown sugar
- maraschino cherries
- cloves
Curried Chicken Salad

Toss all ingredients and add mayo to moisten
- 3 c cooked chicken (cubed)
- 1 sliced celery stalk
- 3 tsp finely minced onion
- 1 c red grapes
- 1 1/2 tsp curry powder
- salt/pepper
- 2/3 c mayonnaise

Heat 3 T of olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat
- 1 1/2 cups chopped yellow onion
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb lean ground lamb
- 1/2 cup dry dred wine
- 1 T minced garlic (3)
- 1 T ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
- pinch of cayenne
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes in thick puree
- Kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 T unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided
- 7 oz Greek yogurt, such as Fage Total
- 12 oz bucatelli
- 2 extra large eggs, lightly beaten
Belle Goldstein's Strudle

Belle gave me her "secret" recipe while we were sitting at the pool at Midvale
- 1/2 lb softened butter
- 1/2 pt sour cream
- 2 1/4 c flour
- 1/4 t almond flavoring
- apricot jam
- coconut
- crushed walnuts
- raisins
Garlic Bread

You can also change this recipe up by sprinkling with a bit of parmesan and chopped parsley before wrapping in foil
- loaf of french bread
- 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 stick of butter
Mini Spicy Buffalo Chicken Balls

When I made this for the five of us I only did half of this recipe and had about 5 left over
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup Frank's RedHot hot sauce, plus more for serving
- 2 pounds ground chicken, preferably thigh meat
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ribs celery, minced (about 1 cup)
- 1 2/3 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- Blue cheese dressing
- celery sticks
Sweet potato souffle

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 6 sweet potatoes
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- Melted stick of unsalted butter
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c honey
