Cake #1..... Grease and flour an angel food cake pan
- GLAZE:
- Cake #1.....
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 c apricot nectar
- 3 tsp flour
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 stick melted unsalted butter
- juice of 1 lemon
- confectionary sugar
- Cake #2.....
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1 c waer
- 1 pkg instant lemon pudding mix
- 1/4 c flour
- GLAZE:
- 1 1/3 c confectionary sugar
- 7-8 T lemon juice
Pilaf

Melt butter. Add capellini and slightly brown
- 1/4 lb salted butter
- 1/3 c broken capellini
- 2 c chicken broth (made from a Knorr chicken cube with 2 cups water)
- 1 c raw rice
Pumpkin Bread

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 1 c vegetable oil
- 2/3 c water
- 4 eggs
- 16 oz pumpkin filling
- 1 c baking raisins
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 3 1/3 c flour
- 3 c sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
Baklavah

Remove phyllo dough from freezer per box directions
- Syrup:
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c water
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 6 whole cloves
- 1/3 c honey
- Filling:
- 1 1/4 lb finely chopped
- walnuts
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/3 c melted unsalted btr
- Frozen phyllo dough
- lb (or more) unsalted butter
Banana Split Cake

Slice bananas into bottom of crust
- 6 oz Keebler graham cracker ready pie crust
- 2 small bananas
- 1 quart soft vanilla ice cream
- unheated hot fudge
- pineapple preserves
- chopped nuts
- whipped cream
- maraschino cherries
Carrot Ginger Layer Cake w/Orange Cream Cheese Frosting

Cake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Butter two 8 X 2 inch round pans
- Cake:
- unsalted butter for pans
- 3 c all purpose flour
- 1 c pecan halves finely chopped
- 1 lb large peeled carrots
- 3 large eggs (room temp)
- 1/3 c buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1 T freshly grated ginger
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Frosting:
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter (at room temp)
- 3 8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
- 3 c confectionary sugar
- 1 T freshly grated orange zest
- 2 T freshly grated ginger
- pinch salt
Cassatta Cake

This cake is mainly done by taste, sweetness depends on you! I quesstimated ingredients
- 2 Angle food cakes
- 3 lb whole milk ricotta
- Approx 1 lb confectionary sugar
- 1-2 lb Hershey's milk chocolate bar (save some to make chocolate curls for top of cake)
- finely ground walnuts
- 2 c heavy cream
Cardoons

Beat the eggs. Add milk and cream
- 2 c Bisquick
- 1/2 c flour
- 1 c milk
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 4 eggs
- salt/pepper
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp olive oil
- Cardoons, cleaned and boiled cut into 4 inch pieces
Chocolate Fondue

- DIPPERS:
- 6 oz (squares) unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c light cream
- 1/2 c unsalted butter
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 3 T orange flavored liqueur

- pound cake
- apples
- maraschino cherries
- large marshamallows
- bananas
- mandarin oranges

- Topping:
- 2 c sour cream
- 1 T sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
