Chedder Turkey Bake

2004 Taste of Home Annual Quick Cooking - Freezer Meals Makes 2 meals that serves 5 people each
- 2 C. Chicken Broth
- 2 C. Water
- 4 tsp Dried Minced Onions
- 2 C. uncooked Long Grain Rice
- 2 C. Frozen Peas, thawed
- 4 C. Cubed Cooked Turkey or Chicken
- 2 cans Cheddar Cheese Soup, undiluted
- 2 C. Milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 C finely Crushed Ritz Crackers (about 60)
- 6 Tbsp Butter, melted

Foods to Grill in Foil

Roasted Garlic Slice the point off 1 head garlic to expose the cloves
- How to make a foil packet:
- 1 . Lay a large sheet of heavy-duty foil or a double layer of regular foil on a flat surface. (Use nonstick foil where noted.)
- 2 . Put the ingredients in the center of the foil. Bring the short ends of the foil together and fold twice to seal; fold in the sides to seal, leaving room for steam. Grill as directed. (Each recipe serves 2 to 4.)

- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Ideal (or Splenda, but I think Ideal is much better than Splenda for baking)
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed and at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Creamy Shrimp and Mushroom Pasta

I love this recipe. It is so fast and easy yet so filling and rich
- 4-8 oz fettuccine or linguine
- 10 tbsp butter, divided (I know, but I’ve tried it with less and it’s just not the same)
- 8 oz fresh, sliced mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 oz cream cheese, cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (you can use dried herbs if that’s all you have)
- 2/3 cup boiling water (from your noodle pot)
- 1 lb cooked shrimp (feel free to buy frozen-gasp!)
