Sausage and Mushroom Phyllo Twists

Sobeys phyllo - 9 " squares cut 3x3
- 1/2 pound pork sausage meat, crumbled
- 1 small onion minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, chopped fine
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- a pinch of allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mint, crumbled
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley leaves
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- four 16-by 12-inch sheets of phyllo, stacked between 2 sheets of wax paper and covered with a dampened dish towel
- 1/4 cup clarified butter
- 2 tablespoons fine fresh bread crumbs
Holy Yum Chicken

Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 1 1/2 – 2 pounds boneless, skinless, chicken thighs (most of the fat cut and discarded)
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard (must be Dijon mustard, no substitutes)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (again, no substitutes. No fake Aunt Jemima stuff)
- 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. fresh rosemary for garnish

Heat oven to 375° F. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt
- 2 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cup regular semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup large bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar, tightly packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 1 (6 ounce) package lemon jello
- 14 ounces Lemon Lime Soda
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- 2 cups Whipped cream
- 2 Kiwis (sliced in rounds for garnish)
- 1/2 cup Blueberries (for garnish)
- 1/4 cup Blackberries (for garnish)

Coffee-Eggnog Punch

Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl, beat at low speed until coffee dissolves
- 2 1 quart cartons of eggnog
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp instant coffee granules
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup Kahlua or coffee liquor
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon or nutmeg
- Ice Cream mounds.
