Scotties Oat Cakes

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl
- 2 cups flour
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup lard (I used butter)
- 1/2 cup ice cold water

- 1 teaspoon butter, at room temperature, for greasing pie dish
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
