Pork Chops with Browned Garlic Butter Ssauce

Pork Chops: Combine the seasoning mix ingredients in a small bowl, mixing well
- SEASONING MIX:
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 2-4 (1/2 inch thick) pork chops
- 1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
- BROWNED GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE:
- 3/8 lb. (1 1/2 sticks) salted butter
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. minced fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp. Tabasco sauce

Cream of Asparagus Soup

- •1/2 stick unsalted butter
- •1/2 onion, chopped, (about 1/2 cup)
- •1 clove garlic, crushed
