ICE CREAM - Sweet Corn Ice Cream

1. Simmer the corn cob in the heavy cream and milk for 10 minutes
- 1 ear corn (kernels reserved, cut into 1 inch slices)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 egg yolks
PORK - Pork Trotters in Black Vinegar 猪脚醋

1. Wash and dry black beans
- 1 Pork trotter (chopped)
- 300 gm -400gm old + young ginger (how much depends on individuals and the intensity of the ginger used, skin on or off up to ur preference, smashed or not, up 2 U)300gm molasses sugar
- 100 gm sugar (optional, depends on sourness of the gravy)
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp Sesame Seed oil
- 200 gm Black beans
- 1.5 L water
- 1 bottle sweet black vinegar (720ml) (Try half bottle first, adjust later)
- 1 bottle sour black vinegar (623ml) (try half bottle first, adjust later)
BREAD - Sweet Blanc (sweet bun with cream cheese filling)

Make the filling: 1. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy in a bowl
- Dough:
- 210 g Bread Flour
- 40 g Cake Flour
- A)
- 6 g Instant dried yeast
- 4 g Salt
- 30 g Sugar
- 63 g Plain yoghurt
- 1 Egg
- B)
- 13 g Condensed milk
- 8 g Honey
- 50 cc Water
- 30 g Unsalted butter (soft)
- Egg wash
- 1 egg + 1tbsp water
- Decoration:
- 10 Strawberry
- Icing sugar
- Cream cheese filling:
- 230 g Cream cheese
- 50 g Sugar
- 80 g Plain yoghurt
- 30 cc Whipping cream
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
SNACKS - 蜜汁豬肉乾

Preheat oven to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F
- 125 g (4 oz) chopped butter
- 185 g (6 oz) chopped dark eating chocolate
- 1/2 cup (superfine) caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1.25 cups sifted plain flour
- 155 g (5 oz) white chocolate bits (or chopped white eating chocolate) – to add last
- 90 g (3 oz) milk chocolate bits (or chopped milk eating chocolate) – to add last
CAKE - Chocolate Chip Coconut Banana Bread

1. Preheat oven to 325°F
- banana bread:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 medium (over-ripe) bananas
- 2 1/2 tablespoons buttermilk (regular milk is fine)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) plus 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- mix-ins:
- 3/4 chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut, toasted
COOKIES - Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mix together flour, cocoa, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt
- 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 7 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temp.
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 2/3 cup Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (it's just what I had in my pantry. feel free to just add more of the regular chocolate chips instead)

- 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 medium)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups reduced-fat baking mix (such as Bisquick)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- Cooking spray
- One cup of Bisquick can be substituted by a mix of one cup of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil or melted butter.

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas 4)
- Topping Ingredients:
- 125 g (4.4 oz) plain flour
- a pinch of salt
- 115 g (4 oz) caster sugar
- 3 tsps baking powder
- 1 banana, mashed
- 250 ml (1 cup) milk
- 85 g (3 oz) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- vanilla ice cream to serve

BREAKFAST - Roasted Sesame Asparagus Toasts with Poached Eggs

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- 1 pound asparagus spears (about 20-25 thin spears), stems trimmed
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 4 eggs, poached or cooked to your liking
- 4 thick slices whole grain toast
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- lemon garlic aioli
- 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
