- all ingredients from the package white cake mix, but substitute 1/4 cup Creme de Menthe instead of water
- 1/4 about 1/4 cup mini chocolate morsels, optional
- FROSTING:
- 1 (12-ounce) bag semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
- whipped cream frosting or substitute Cool Whip with the Creme de Menthe
- 1-pint heavy cream
- 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons Creme De Menthe or 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, optional
- 2 to 3 drops of green food coloring, optional
