- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup cooked rice

- 1/4 cup milk
- Sauce
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 to 3 tablespoons cold water, to thicken the sauce
Cabbage Soup Diet 7 Day Plan

Remember: This diet should only be followed for 7 days at a time, with at least two weeks in between
- Directions:
- Cabbage Soup Recipe
- 6 large green onions
- 2 green peppers
- 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)
- 3 Carrots
- 1 Container (10 oz. or so) Mushrooms
- 1 bunch of celery
- half a head of cabbage
- 1 package Lipton soup mix
- 1 or 2 cubes of bouillon (optional)
- 1 48oz can V8 juice (optional)
- Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
- Slice green onions, put in a pot and start to saute with cooking spray.
- Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, take the seeds and membrane out. Cut the green-pepper into bite size pieces and add to pot.
- Take the outer leafs layers off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, add to pot.
- Clean carrots, cut into bite size pieces, and add to pot.
- Slice mushrooms into thick slices, add to pot.

For Pork Roast: Combine all of the above ingredients and rub all around the roast
- For Pork Roast:
- 4-5 lb. pork roast
- For the Rub:
- 2 tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
- 1/2 tsp. curry
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- For the Tortilla:
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tbs. shortening
- 3/4 cup warm water
- For the Cabbage Salad:
- 1/2 head of curly cabbage – sliced thin
- 1/2 small red onion – sliced thin
- 1 cloves of garlic – crushed and chopped
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – sliced thin
- 1/4 jalapeño – chopped with seeds
- Combine all of the above in a salad bowl and toss.
- For the Dressing:
- 1/4 cup of water
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- Combine all of the above in a small bowl and mix.
- Pour over the salad and toss.
