Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 medium onions, minced
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 1/2 celery stalk, minced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay
- 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 quart milk, heated
- 3 tablespoons Mederia wine
- 1 pound cooked shrimp, diced

Step 1
Melt butter, add onion, carrot, celery and cook until soft. Add flour gradually while stirring constantly. Add parsley and other seasonings. Gradually add warm milk while continually stirring, add wine, shrimp and salt to taste.
For a thicker consistency, add only 3/4 of the shrimp at first, then blend everything with an immersion blender. Once blended, Add the remaining shrimp.
