Asian Ahi Tuna with Kale and Red Peppers

Ingredients
- 2 Ahi Tuna Steaks
- Marinade
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red cooking wine
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 T. low sodium soy sauce
- Juice of a lime
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t. pepper
- 3 T. fresh grated ginger
- Kale and Red Peppers
- 2 T. olive oil
- 2 red bellpeppers, seeded and sliced
- 1 head of kale, stems removed and chopped
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 t. Chinese Five Spice
- salt and pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all marinade ingredients. Place tuna steaks in a sealable bag. Add marinade, seal and let sit for about 30 minutes.
Sear tuna steaks on each side (best served rare but cook to your liking).
In a large pan, heat olive oil on medium heat. Add the shallots, garlic, kale and peppers. Stir and add seasonings. Cook until peppers begin to soften.
