Five Flavor Pound Cake w/Vanilla Lime Custard Drizzle

For Cake..... Preheat oven to 350
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 T freshly squeezed lime juice
- zest of 2 limes
- 3/4 cup buttermilk, at room temp
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp rum extract
- 1 tsp coconut etract
- 1 tsp butter flavor extract
- Drizzle....
- 6 large egg yolks, room temp
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 T cornstarch
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp ground Tahitian vanilla bean
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 2 T heavy cream
- Fresh raspberries for garnish
Broiled Sea Scallops with Sherry

Set the oven to broil. Remove the elastic ligament attached to scallop
- 1 1/2 lb sea scallops
- 3 T melted butter
- 1 1/2 T sherry wine
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 1/2 T chopped chives
- salt and pepper to taste
Veal Marsala

Sprinkle the veal with 3/4 tsp salt & pepper
- 8 veal cutlets
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 4 T unsalted butter
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 large finely chopped shallot
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 4 oz assorted mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 cup sweet Marsala
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
- 3/4 c chicken broth
Fig Cookies

Prepare the filling mixture
- FILLING:
- 3 c crisco
- 4 c sugar
- 8 eggs
- 8 T evaporated milk
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp almond extract
- 10 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 lb dried figs (cut stems off before chopping)
- 2 lb raisins
- 1 lb dates
- 1/2 lb walnuts
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 orange zest
- 1 c honey
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- pinch nutmeg
- 1/4 c rum
Honey Fruit Salad

In a large bowl, gently toss fruit, all except the bananas, to combine well and refrigerate
- Syrup:
- 2 pints fresh sliced peaches
- 1/2 c fresh blueberries
- 1/2 c raspberries
- 1 c green grapes
- 2 sliced bananas
- Any other fruit could be added really.
- 3/4 c honey
- 1 T grated lemon peel
- 2 T orange juice
- 1 T lemon juice
Mile High Lemon Pie

Prepare a 9 inch baked pie crust
- 8 egg yolks
- 1 c sugar
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 c water
- 1 T grated lemon peel
- 1/2 c lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp cream tartar
- 1 c sugar
Combo Bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 stick melted unsalted butter
- 1 c crushed graham crackers
- 1 c semisweet choco chips
- 1 c butterscotch chips
- 1 c coconut
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts
- 14 oz can Eaglo condensed milk
Hamburger Hot Sauce

Brown the beef. Simmer ingredients for 45 minutes to an hour
- 3 chopped onions
- 3 T butter
- 1/2 c ground round
- 2 c water
- 5 T chili powder
- 2 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 T worcester sauce
Caramel Brownie Cheesecake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 8 oz brownie mix
- 1 egg
- 1 T cold water
- 14 oz pkg caramels
- 5 oz can evaporated milk
- 2-8 oz soft cream cheese
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c semi sweet chocolate chips
Cocktail Hots with Sauce

Simmer the sauce and add hots during the last 10 minutes to heat them thoroughly
- Family sized Heinz catsup
- 12 oz Heinz chili sauce
- 1 tsp (or more) horseradish
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
