Sweet and Savory Biscuits

Recipe calls for blackstrap molasses but can be substituted with regular molasses or honey
- 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour, plus extra for rolling
- 1 cup barley flour
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tblsp blackstrap molasses
- 1 egg
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tblsp safflower oil
- 3 (2.5oz) jars of meat only baby food
Pecan Waffles

1. Start the waffle iron and preheat the oven to 200 to keep the finished waffles warm
- 2 eggs, separated
- 4 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon rum
- 6 oz pecans divided
- 2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
