Tidewater Coleslaw

This is a quick and easy cole slaw that gets better the longer it sets
- 1 1/2 Cups mayonnaise
- 1/2 Cup white vinegar
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon celery seed
- salt and pepper -- to taste
- 1 Head green cabbage -- finely shredded
- 2 carrots -- finely grated
Grilled Sausage and Potato Salad

Place potatoes in a large pot and boil for 12-15 minutes

- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Hot Baste

- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Franks hot sauce or Tabasco
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
Smoked Sausage, Beer and Cheese Soup

This soup carries a smoky flavor that is out of this world
- INGREDIENTS:
- • 1 pound mild sausage
- • 12 ounces dark beer (stout if you like it)
- • 1 large white potato, chopped
- • 1/2 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
- • 1/4 cup white wine
- • 3 cups water
- • 1 teaspoon salt
- • 2 green onions, diced
- • 1 cup half and half
Fuzzy Navel

Mix equal parts of each ingredient in a highball glass, top with ice, and serve

- 1 #10 Can Bush's Original Baked Beans **
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 lb Jimmy Dean Original Sausage
- 1 cup brisket/pork shoulder trimmings
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 2 T Cider Vinegar
- 2 T Yellow Mustard
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Tom’s Rib Rub
- 1/4 Cup Molasses
Beef & Mushroom Crescent Rolls
