Preparation Place tomatoes, onions, garlic and broth in a large soup pot
- 6 cups chopped fresh tomatoes (any kind)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 quart vegetable broth or chicken broth

- 2 tablespoons butter
