Whisk together butter, garlic and half & half, bring to a simmer, in a medium saucepan over medium heat
- 2 cups half and half (or 1 cup milk and 1 cup heavy cream)
- 1 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup fresh shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh shredded Romano cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (or white)
Creamy White Chili

In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 cans (15-1/2 ounces each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth
- 2 cans (4 ounces each) chopped green chilies
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Braised Corned Beef Brisket

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C)
- 2 (5 pound) flat-cut corned beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon browning sauce (such as Kitchen Bouquet(R)), or as desired

Southern Macaroni & Cheese

- 8 ounces package elbow noodles, cooked and drained
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cups homemade cream of chicken soup or (1 10 3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup + 10 3/4 ounces of water)

- 3 heaping tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup pimento pepper, chopped (large jar)
- 1 sleeve Ritz Crackers, crumbled

German Green Bean Soup/ Gruene Bohneneintopf
