Smothered Pork Chops

Sprinkle Ton's on pork chops
- Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning
- 4-6 Pork chops
- 2 eggs
- Italian bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Browned Butter Honey Garlic Shrimp

1. Heat butter in a non stick pan or skillet over medium-high heat
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice (or juice of half a lemon)
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic , minced
- 21- ounces | 600-grams shrimp , peeled and deveined (tail on or off)
- Salt to season
- Lemon wedges (to serve)
- Fresh chopped parsley , to serve
Chocolate Glaze for Chocolate Bundt Cake

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 pound extra sharp cheese or 1/2 extra sharp and 1/2 sharp
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper + more to taste
- 3 sticks margarine

Ratatouille Pasta

Place eggplant and zucchini in a colander over a plate; sprinkle with salt and toss
- 2 cups diced peeled eggplant
- 2 cups sliced zucchini
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups uncooked spiral pasta
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Dash pepper
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
Pretzels-Pennsylvania Dutch

In large bowl of mixer, mix 1 1/2 cups flour, the yeast, sugar and 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 cups unsifted flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pk Active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cup very warm water (120-130F)
- 1 qt water
- 2 Tbsp Baking soda
- coarse salt

- 2 sticks of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teasp lemon extract
- 1/2 teasp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teasp baking powder
- 1/4 teasp salt
Fried Okra

My MeMaw's fried okra recipe!
- Fresh pods of okra (pick the small young ones) Adjust recipe depending on amount of okra you have.
- Several eggs scrambled
- 2 cups corn meal (white or yellow) + or - depending on amount of okra
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt and pepper to taste (put plenty of salt)
- Tony Cachere's seasoning to taste
- Peanut oil
Cake Mix Cookies

Combine ingredients and mix until well blended
- 1 box any cake mix
- 1 bag of any chips (peanut butter, white choc.,semi-sweet choc., dark choc., etc.)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- pecans if desired
Spinach Dip (Hot)

Heat ingredients together, then put in casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 45 mins
- 3 boxes of frozen chopped spinach
- 1 small can green chilies
- 2 , 8 oz packs of Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 16 oz sour cream
- 2 , 9 oz packs of cream cheese
- 1 cup Romano grated cheese
- 2 cans Artichoke Hearts
- several dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco to taste
- salt & pepper to taste
