Rocky Road Ice Cream

In a large saucepan, mix cocoa powder and sugar, gradually stir in milk
- Gallon:
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups whipping cream
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped almonds or pecans, toasted if desired
- Half Gallon:

- 1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
- 1 1/2 cups fresh ground wheat flour
- 3 T. brown sugar or sucanat
- 1 1/2 t. yeast
- 2 quarts water (for boiling)
- 1/2 c. baking soda

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh sage
