- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour 1/4 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons cold butter

- 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaaspoon ground nutmeg 1 cup peeled diced Granny Smith apple (1/4-inch) 1 cup milk 2 eggs
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1 Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 cup (1/2 pound or 2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened, OR 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large eggs, well beaten
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 3 cups rolled oats (We use Quaker Quick or Old Fashioned. Do NOT use instant.)
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Roast Leg of Lamb with Mint Sauce

- 1 6 to 7 pound boneless leg of lamb
- 2 teaspoons kosher or sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

- 3 teaspoons rosemary or 5 fresh rosemary twigs with leaves

- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons mint leaves
- 1 cup sour cream

- 2 pounds venison stew meat
- 3 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 7 small potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 pound carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Angel Food Cake

Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks, and then add cream of tartar, vanilla extract, and almond extract
- 1 1/4 1 1/4 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1 3/4 1 3/4 3/4 cups white sugar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cups egg whites

- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (1 lb.) bag carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. raisins Cream Cheese Frosting (recipe follows)
- Marzipan carrots (optional)
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Combine butter and cream cheese in a large mixing bowl; beat until light and fluffy. Add sugar, orange rind and vanilla, mixing well.
