Dip: Warm Crab and Artichoke

Preheat oven 400* Beat cream cheese with mixer until smooth
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup or 4 oz. crabmeat, well drained
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons chopped drained marinated artichoke hearts in jar
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onion
- 2 tablespoons diced red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons diced celery
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Sherry wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Sandwich: Snake for Halloween

Growing up, my children loved this snake sandwich, and it's a favorite of my friends too
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 4 tablespoons spicy mustard or dijon
- 10 oz thinly sliced ham
- 10 oz thinly sliced salami
- 12 oz Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- Liquid food coloring
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 whole peppercorns
- toothpicks
- 2 small pimiento-stuffed olives
- 1-1 " strips jarred roasted red peppers

This is a combination that I think works with little time to marinate the meat
- 4 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 3 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 7 pound pork shoulder
Cornbread

Preheat oven 350* Grease 9 x 13 pan Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups milk
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 sticks melted butter
- 8 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/3 cups scallions (3 scallions)
- 3 tablespoons seeded minced jalepeno pepper
- 3/4 cups corn
- 1 red or green pepper, minced
Bread: Honey White

This bread is a little sweet, sort of like Hawaiin bread
- 1/2 cup water (110* to 120* in the bowl)
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups milk (110*)
- 6 tablespoons melted and cooled butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 extra large egg yolks
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbls salt
Salad: Carrot

Combine ingredients and season with salt and pepper
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 bunches of shredded carrots
- salt and pepper

Directions Heat a large skillet and coat the bottom with just enough olive oil (about 2 Tbsp)
- 4 (6 ounce) chicken breasts
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ⁄2 onion, diced
- 2 cups fresh tomatoes, diced
- 1 can black olives, sliced
- 1 ⁄4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 ⁄4 cup white wine
- 4 cups spinach, washed and dried
- 1 teaspoon basil, dried
- extra virgin olive oil, for pan
- salt and pepper, to taste

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- 8 whole allspice
- 1 lb head savoy cabbage (sliced thin into shreds)

- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup flour
- 4 extra large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons prepared coffee
- Your favorite ice cream
