Seafood Quiche

A flavorful seafood treat that's a breeze to make! Prep time approx 15 minutes
- 1/2 # bacon
- 1 recipe for a 9" double crust pie
- 1 T butter, melted
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups half and half cream
- 1 t salt
- 1 pinch white sugar
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1/4 # shredded swiss cheese
- 6 - 6 oz.cans crabmeat, shredded
- 1 4oz can canned shrimp, drained
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

Put this veggie-packed dish on the table tonight or refrigerate it for a prep-free dinner tomorrow
- 12 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 bag (12oz) broccoli florets
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted buttter, plus more for the dish
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 1 pkg (8oz) sliced mushrooms
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1 bag (5oz) baby spinach
- 5 oz. fontina cheese, grated (1 1/4cups)
- 1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan

- 1 rib celery, finely chopped

- 1 bottle (12 oz) beer
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 Tbls Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp hot-pepper sauce
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
Basil Mashed Potatoes

1) Place mashed potatoes in a microwave safe bowl
- 1 container (24oz) homestyle mashed potatoes
- 1 T prepared pesto
- 1 / cup finely chopped fresh basil
Shrmp and Scallop Salad with Mandarin-Poppyseed Dressing

1) In a small saucepan f simmering water, cook scallops for 3 to 4 minutes
- 4 ozs bay scallops
- 1 cup (15oz) mandarin orange segments
- 1/4 cup Poppy seed salad dressing
- 8 ozs. cooked peeled and deveined bay or other small shrimp
- 4 cups prewashed baby arugula

- 2 pkgs. yeast
- 1 cup softened butter

Herb Crusted Pork Chops with Broccoli and Cheese

Prep time about 25 minutes
- 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups fresh whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 23 Tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- Four 6 oz. 1" thick boneless center cut pork loin chops
- 23 Tbsp grainy mustard
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bunch brocoli, cut into florets

- 1 (8oz) cream cheese
- 1/3 cup of Miracle Whip (do NOT use regular mayo)
- 4 oz. shredded swiss cheese
- 2 Tblsp. green onion, sliced
- 8-10 slices bacon crumbled
- 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
Old-Fashion Whoopie Pies

These freeze very well
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teasp vanilla extract
- 2 2/3 cups flour
- 1 teas baking powder
- 1 teas baking soda
- 1/4 teas salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- FILLING;
- 3 Tbls flour
- Dash salt
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 teas vanilla extract

- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 pt heavy cream
