- 2 (3 ounce packages ) sugar free orange jello
- 2 cups boiling water. Mix until dissolved
- 1 cup juice from Mandarin orange juice can

- 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cartons (4 oz. each) cholesterol-free egg product or 6 large eggs, well beaten

- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)

- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped

- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive or salad oil
- 2 (1 pound) cans tomatoes ( 4 cups)
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoon crushed oregano + more if desired
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 recipe Italian meat balls
- Hot cooked spaghetti
- ITALIAN MEAT BALLS:
- 4 slices dry bread
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in liquid, egg, and magarine
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (save juice)
- 1/2 cup combined juice and water
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons margarine melted
- 1/2 cup nuts

- Butter for coating dish
- 2 14-ounce cans artichoke hearts, drained and coarsely chopped
- 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed, all excess water squeezed out
- 6 ounces Parmesan cheese, freshly grated (abou 1 1/2 cups)
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Finely grated zest of one lemon
- 1 teaspoon bottled hot peppr sauce
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
