Ingredients

  • Single layer chocolate cake baked in a heart-shaped cake pan (I used a cake mix)

Preparation

Step 1

Bake and cool cake per recipe or package directions. Place cooled cake on a serving plate, bottom side up.

Melt candy melts with the shortening as directed on package. (I microwaved.) Pour into a sandwich size plastic ziptop bag, then snip off a corner (fairly small cut). Starting at the top of the cake, drizzle white chocolate across the cake as desired. Let stand until chocolate is set.

Slightly heat the jam just until drizzling consistency, NOT hot.

Arrange raspberries on top of cake. Spoon or drizzle (from a ziptop bag) jam partially over the raspberries.
