Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 ounces mushrooms, halved, quartered, or sliced
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup marsala cooking wine
  • 1 (16-ounce) package potato gnocchi

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and olive oil in a large covered skillet over medium heat (leave uncovered at this point). Add mushrooms, sliced green onions, marjoram, salt & pepper. Sauté 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add chicken broth, marsala cooking wine, and gnocchi.
Increase heat to high; cover and cook 3 minutes on high.
Remove lid and serve immediately.

NOTE:
Can add cooked chicken breast at end to heat up just before serving.
