Ingredients
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 2 T. vegetable oil
- 2 Cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can diced tomato and green chilis
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 12 --6 in. corn tortillas

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion and pepper in hot oil for 5 min.
Stir in chicken and next 7 ingredients. Remove heat.
Cut tortillas in 1 inch strips and layer 1/3 of them on the bottom of a lightly greased 13 X 9 inch pan. Top with 1/3 of chicken mix and 2/3 cups of cheese. Repeat layers twice.
Bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Freeze 1 month if desired. Thaw in fridge overnight and bake as directed.
