I have made these since I was college, and I rarely make them EXACTLY the same way. You can use only one kind of chocolate, you could use butterscotch chips as well. Now on the eagle brand condensed milk cans there sometimes is a variatio of this and called dreambars.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 cups flaed coconut
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)...sometimes I mix them.
  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries (I have subbed raisons or dried cherries)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine graham cracker crumbs and butter. Press mixture to 13X9 pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

While crust is baking. combine remaining ingredients with one can of condensed milk and mix well.

Remove crust from oven, and pour remaining can of condensed milk over crust Spoon chocolate mixture over crust evenly, and press down to firm.

Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until brown. Cool and cut into bars.

^^^bars freeze well. If kept in fridge, serve at room temperature for best flavor.
