Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°F. Prep a cookie sheet with lined wax paper or parchment.

Combine with electric mixer on high - egg whites, white vinegar and salt until soft peaks form.

Add 1 tablespoon of sugar at a time until a stiff peak forms, then add vanilla.

Fill pastry bag with wide tip.

Pipe onto lined cookie sheets. Bake 23 to 25 minutes cool completely before removing from pan

Can be topped with very finely crushed peppermint candies or colored with food coloring prior to baking, can be flavored with different extracts instead of vanilla, the possibilities are endless.
