Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound hamburger
  • 1/2 pound bacon or more if you like bacon like I do
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can drained dark red kidney beans
  • 1 can drained butter beans
  • 1 tall can bushes baked beans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard

Step 1

Slice the bacon into about 1" pieces. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the hamburger, bacon and chopped onion.

In a large casserole dish, combine the browned meat and onions with the other ingredients and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. If you double the recipe it will fill a crock pot.
