Green Goddess Potato Salad

By rejadez
Fill an 8-quart stockpot halfway with water, add 1/4 cup salt; bring to boil over high heat
- Kosher salt
- 5 pounds red potatoes , peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup finely chopped green onion
- 1 cup finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 cup finely minced tarragon
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Freshly ground black pepper

I got this recipe off of Food Network
- Roasting Chicken
- 1 (3 lb) whole chickens
- salt and pepper
- 4 ounces unsalted butter
- 1 lemon, halved and juiced, reserve the lemon halves
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped thyme
- 1 onion, cut in half
- 4 garlic cloves, halved
- fresh whole herbs (garlic thyme and parsley sprigs)
- For Chicken Stock
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 carrots, cut in large chunks
- 2 stalks celery, cut into large chunks
- 1 onion, cut in halves
- 1 head garlic, cut in half
- reserved chicken bones
- 2 quarts cold water
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 4 sprigs fresh parsley
- For the supreme sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup carrot, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 6 cups of the chicken stock
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt & pepper, for flavor
- For Dumplings
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs

TATER TOT CASSEROLE

Brown hamburger meat. Add cream of mushroom soup and stir together continuously
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 bag tater tots
- shredded cheese
- 1 lb of ground hamburger meat
Banana Bread Sweet & fluffy

I make this about twice a month when the bananas don't get eaten up and start to brown
- 3 to 4 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Sparkling Fruit Punch

- 1/2 cup Orange Juice
- 1/2 Grapefruit Juice
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 cans Sprite Zero

I tried this recipe with the white sauce poured over it along with the red sauce then topped with white cheese
- Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION 1. Heat oven to 325°F

- 10 shortbread cookies (we used Keebler Sandies Simply Shortbread)

- 3 bricks (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ⁄2 cup sour cream, at room temperature
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 Tbsp grated lime zest
- 1 ⁄3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 drop liquid green food color (optional)

- 1 ⁄4 cup sugar
- 11 ⁄2 tsp cornstarch

1. Place 3 cups blueberries, the sugar and lemon juice in medium saucepan; mash berries well with a potato masher
- 4 cups blueberries
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 qt vanilla ice cream
- 1 (10-oz) pkg frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
- 2 cups sweetened whipped cream or frozen whipped topping, defrosted
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Almond Chicken with Vegetables

1 Fry chicken strips in olive oil over high heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 whole raw chicken breasts, removed from bone & cut in fine strips
- 2 c. diced celery
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 lg. cloves minced garlic
- 1 c. shredded Chinese cabbage
- 2 c. bamboo shoots, sliced
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. water chestnuts
- 1 bunch scallions, sliced
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch (mixed smooth in 3 tbsp. water)
Turkey, good eats roasted Thankgiving turkey

The meat was so tender and fell off the bones
- For the brine:
- 1 (14 to 16 pound) frozen young turkey
- 1 cup kosher salt
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 gallon vegetable stock
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 1 1/2 teaspoons allspice berries (I substituted cranberry juice)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped candied ginger
- 1 gallon heavily iced water
- For the aromatics:
- 1 red apple, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup water
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- 6 leaves sage
- Canola oil
