Strawberry Milk Shake

1. Put milk, jam, and lemon juice into a blender and blend for 10 seconds
- 1 ⁄2 cup cold milk
- 2 tbsp. strawberry jam
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 4 scoops strawberry ice cream
- 4 scoops strawberry sorbet
Golden Egg Bread with Dried Fruit

Place ingredients in bread machine pan in order given
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 6 tablespoons corn oil (I used walnut oil)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries, dried cherries or raisins
- 3 cups bread flour (+)
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant or bread machine yeast or 1/4 ounce pkg active dry yeast
Bacon Roast Pork Tenderloin

Preheat your oven to 500ºF
- 1 pound pork tenderloin
- 3-4 slices of bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or your favourite sweet)
- 1 teaspoon herb or spice, dried thyme, fresh rosemary or ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon any mustard
- lots of freshly cracked black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- For the cake:
- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
- 4 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup grated lemon zest (6 to 8 large lemons)
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, divided
- 3/4 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- For the glaze:
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 3 1/2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

ADD boiling water to jelly powder and drink mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 pkg. (85 g) Jell-O Jelly Powder, any flavour
- 2/3 cup Kool-Aid Sugar Sweetened Drink Mix, any flavour
- 1-1/2 cups cold water
- SUBSTITUTE: substitute fruit juice for the cold water

- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour (If you use all-purpose flour- you may need to add up to 1/4 cup extra)
- 2 1/4 teaspoons fast-rising or bread machine yeast
Butter-Lard Pastry

Mix flour with salt, and cut in butter and lard
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup lard (or shortening- Crisco)
- 5 to 6 tablespoons of ice water
- For sweet pies add 1 to 2 teaspoons white sugar.
