AUNTIE LAURETTA'S SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS

Mix all ingredients and form into meatballs
- 4 lbs. meat
- 1 cup matza meal
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 large onions, grated
- salt, pepper, garlic powder
- SAUCE
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 pints boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups canned tomatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sour salt
LIME JELLO MOLD

Dissolve jello in liquid and chill until slightly thickened
- 3 small pkgs. lime jello
- 3 1/2 cups liquid
- 1 large can crushed pineapple (drained, use syrup for part of liquid)
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
JUDY FISHMAN'S DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 oz. butter, softened
- 1 lb. dark brown sugar
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 1/4 cup sifted cake flour
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- FROSTING
- 1 pound butter, softened
- 1 cup + 2 tbs. 10X sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 18 oz. semi-sweet or bitter-sweet chocolate, melted
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
WINE AND CHERRY JELLO MOLD

Dissolve jello with water, wine, and juice
- 2 large pkgs. black cherry jello
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1 small Cool Whip
- 1 large can pitted black cherries
- coconut
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sweet red wine
- 1 cup juice from cherries
PASSOVER APRICOT PASTRY

In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine butter, egg yolks, salt, sugar, cake meal, lemon rind and vanilla
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups cake meal
- 2 teaspoons lemon rind
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- FILLING
- 12 ounce jar apricot preserves
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup coconut
NEIMAN MARCUS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant espresso powder
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
MACARONI AND CHEESE

Prepare macaroni as per instructions
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 large box macaroni
- Velveeta or American cheese slices
- 2 eggs
- milk
- salt
- pepper
- bread crumbs
MOM'S ORANGE JELLO MOLD

Dissolve jello in boiling water
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 3 oz. packages orange jello
- 1 large can pineapple tidbits
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 bananas, sliced
AUNTIE LAURETTA'S SAUCE FOR CABBAGE AND MEATBALLS

Combine all ingredients
- 1 can Del Monte stewed tomatoes
- 1 7 oz. bottle Hunt's ketchup
- 16 oz. Vernor's ginger ale
GREEN JELLO MOLD

Spray mold with Pam. Dissolve jello in 2 hot and 2 cold cups of water
- 2 3-oz. pkgs. or 1 6-oz. pkg. lime jello
- 2 cup boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- 4 1/2 oz. Cool Whip
- 8 Oreos, finely crushed
