Line a 13-in. x 9-in. pan with foil and grease the foil with butter; set aside

- 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup cold water, divided
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- Optional toppings: melted chocolate, hot fudge and/or caramel ice cream topping
- Optional garnishes: baking cocoa, confectioners' sugar, crushed assorted candies, chopped nuts, colored sugars and/or sprinkles

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped into 1/2-inch pieces
- Kosher salt
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- Enough chicken soup mix or bouillon cubes for 3 cups broth (do not dilute the mix though)
- 3/4 cup frozen peas
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast or thigh, chopped into 1/2"-3/4" pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Black pepper
- 1-2 pounds frozen tater tots, for topping
- Ketchup, for serving, optional

- 3 cups cold water, divided

Easy Tzatziki with Toasted Pita Crisps

- 2 (7-ounce) containers Greek yogurt (recommended: Fage Total)
- 1 hothouse cucumber, unpeeled and seeded
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
- 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Chocolate Chip Shortbread

- 1/3 c sugar
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1/4 c cornstarch

Directions For the crepe batter, combine flour and salt in a bowl and make a well in the center
- Basic Crepes:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup brandy, optional, use additional milk if you omit it
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- White Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk

- Freshly grated nutmeg, to your taste

- Dessert Filling:
- 2 (16 ounce) cans pitted black cherries
- 1 orange, zested
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 rounded tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons warm water
- 2 jiggers Kirsch or Amaretto liquer
- 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar, plus additional for dusting
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
