Instructions Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  • My combination - all finely chopped:
  • 3 to 4 large yams or sweet potatoes
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups heavy cream
  • fresh chopped herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary, parsley, oregano, etc.)*
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. rosemary, 1 tsp. thyme, 1 tsp. oregano, 1 tsp. sage
  • NOTE: If you peel the sweet potatoes in advance, store them in water so they don't brown. Drain them well, pat them dry, and reduce the heavy cream to 1 cup.

  • 2 pounds (32 ounces) powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract (if desired)
  • Super white gel icing color
  • Pink, red or green icing color
  • Small squeeze bottles
  • Toothpicks
  • 3 X4 Treat bags
  • Twine or Twist ties
