- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2/3 c cake flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Lemon Filling
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp lemon rind
- 1/8 t salt
- 1/3 c lemon juice
- 3/4 c water
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tbsp butter
Maryland Crab Cakes (Martha Stewart)

Heat broiler, with rack 4 inches from heat
- 1 pound small-size fresh crabmeat, such as special or claw
- 1 pound large-size fresh crabmeat, such as jumbo lump or backfin
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 2 lemons), plus wedges, for serving
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup fine saltine crumbs (from about 30 crackers)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Tartar Sauce
Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cheesecake Truffles

Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp. chopped PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, divided
- 2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into small pieces
Sweet Potato Surprise

- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

- 1 pound jumbo lump crab meat, picked through
- 2 heaping tablespoons prepared mayonnaise
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/2 small onion, grated

Banana Bread

A recipe given to me from my hygienist Shirley who makes this as gifts to give at Christmas
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs - room temp
- 3 ripe bananas
- small bananas are good. Can peel and freeze in ziplock bag, thaw
- and freeze prior to using.
- 1 tsp vanilla
Lemony Green Beans

- 1 tablespoon plum jelly or hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
