Crock Pot Asian-Inspired Beef Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 T. soy sauce
  • 3 T. ginger, minced
  • 3 T. garlic, crushed
  • 2/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 T Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 t sesame oil
  • 3 T instant minced onion
  • 1 1/2 T five-spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 1/2 lbs short rib of beef

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except for ribs in crock pot.

Add the ribs one at a time, coating them with sauce and stacking them as you go.

Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

Remove ribs and pour sauce into a separate container.

Allow fat to separate and skim off of top (there will be quite a bit).

Return sauce to meat, and serve.
