Ingredients
- 1/2 large cabbage, chopped
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- paprika & salt to taste
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
- 3 tbs. melted butter
- Medium White Sauce
- 4 tbs. butter
- 4 tbs. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups milk

Step 1
WHITE SAUCE: Melt butter; stir in flour, salt & pepper. Whisk in milk, cook & whisk over medium heat until thickened & bubbly. Cook & stir 1-2 more minutes. Makes 2 cups.
Layer part of cabbage in buttered dish; sprinkle with part of cheese, paprika & salt. Cover with white sauce. Repeat until cabbage, cheese & sauce are used up. Melt 3 tbs. butter & mix with cracker crumbs. Top cabbage mix with crumbs. Bake at 350 until bubbly & browned.,
