Apple Cinnamon Crock Pot Oatmeal

  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

1 Spray crock pot
2 Place apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in the bottom of the crockpot
3 Pour in oatmeal, milk and water
4 Do NOT stir
5 Cook overnight for 8 - 9 hours on low.

As I make this for 6 people on average, I double or triple the recipe, repeating steps 1-4 in two or three layers.

As an aside, fresh but not quite ripe peaches are just as amazing as apples!
