Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- apples
- nutmeg
- cinnamon

Step 1
Peel and slice apples. Place in baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Mix remaining ingredients with fingers until crumbly. Pat flour mixture over all. Bake at 375 degrees for one hour. Serve hot or cold with cream, ice cream or whipped cream. This amount of sugar and flour mixture will cover 8 x 10 pan or 9 x 12 skimpy. Use enough apples to fill the pan at least halfway.
