Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup of oil
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 3 eggs
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 3 tbsp.(plus,plus)Tia Maria
• 3 1/2 apples or (apple pear mixture)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 325 f
Cream together oil, brown and white sugars, beat in eggs, add Tia Maria.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
Incorporate flour mixture in batches into egg mixture
With wooden spoon mix in apples
Bake for about 1 1/2 hrs. for the first half hour (approximately), I cover the cake with foil.
