By

Easy recipe that adds a little variety to regular taco night. My family still thinks I make this from scratch :)

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts - no time to thaw? Starting with frozen is okay too
  • 1 jar taco sauce or salsa (I prefer taco sauce, but the kids like salsa so whatever you have on hand)

Preparation

Step 1

Place chicken in crockpot, pour sauce over top. Cover and cook on medium for about 6 hours. Shred with a fork, it will fall apart without much effort on your part. Meat will have a lot of juices, so spoon into shells with a slotted spoon. Serve with your favorite garnishes.

Good for burritos, enchiladas, and most Mexican dishes.
