Mushroom Gravy Pot Roast

Ingredients
- 1 large Reynold's cooking bag
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 pkg (3/4-1oz) brown gravy mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 8 oz can sliced mushrooms
- 3-5 lb boneless chuck roast
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325. Shake flour in oven bag, place in a 13x9 pan. Add gravy mix and water to bag. Squeeze to blend in flour. Add onion and mushrooms. Turn bag to coat ingredients with gravy. Rub roast with thyme, salt and pepper; place roast in bag. Close bag with nylon tie and cut six 1/2" slits in top. Bake 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
